In order for the festival to grow and for the contributors to complete individual projects, Newfoundland is becoming a biannual festival. By giving the event this build-up time, every NFL outing can be more special than the last.
For the Newfoundland 09 Secret Summer Gathering we will be hoping to bring you the elements that have made it this special so far – dedicated psytrance and eclectic electronica stages, cafes, stalls, live bands, acoustic acts, a contemporary arts gallery and now a separate, expanded literature, poetry & comedy stage – and also new elements to complete the experience for all – a family/children’s area, even more delicious food from around the world, fire sculpture & performance, site sculpture, a host of local and international acts – and love.
We have our eye on a rather beautiful new place in the middle of nowhere.
