After first learning about Yurts in their traditional settings, their structures intriguing us with their simplistic complexity, All About Yurts have used this information to come up with a yurt design with all the beauty of a Tent from the heart of Mongolia and with the technology and most durable materials available from the rest of the world.
The lattice wall is made from steam bent Lathes of Meranti, an oriental Hardwood, dark reddish color. The Meranti is smoothed, oiled then connected using stainless steel bolts and cables to prevent rust.
The Diameter from wall to wall is 16ft (4.6m) which could house a King size bed, hot tub, or dining table with plenty of walking space around too...
The height at its peak is 2.6m, so plenty of head room even next to the walls.
